Platform Manager (m/f/d) - IT Operations

Your Tasks

One of the objectives within IT Operations is to develop state of the art IT Operations platforms including IT Service Management, IT Asset Management and Monitoring toolsets and supporting corporate functions (Technology, Finance, HR, Facilities, Logistics, ...) in their day-to-day operational activities.

The Manager will be responsible to:

• Manage the teams supporting the development of the IT Operations toolsets (ITSM, Asset Management and Monitoring)
• Develop strategic plans and vision for the standardization of the toolsets. This includes short- and long-term strategic planning and service improvements.
• Be a liaison between the organization and the Third-Party Tool Vendors. Identify upcoming trends and innovations, translating this into recommendations and ideas for improving the Managed Service Environments.
• Work with the Product teams to facilitate the correct use of the IT Operations toolsets
• Ensure that all development work follows basic agile software development.

Your Profile

Must have:

• Must be able to speak and write fluent in English
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT Operations toolsets (ITSM, Asset Management, Monitoring)
• Experience in managing teams (minimum 5 years)
• Knowledgeable on Service Now or Ivanti IT Operations toolset (Service Management, Hardware and Software Asset Management), Infrastructure and application monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, …)
• Experience working in an agile organization (familiar with SCRUM/Kanban and tools like JIRA/Confluence)
• International management experience

Good to have:

• Experience in scripting languages (Bash, Powershell) and programming languages (e.g. Go, Python)
• Experience with common DevOps technologies (Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform), GitHub, Opsgenie, etc.)
